While service is kinda slow, my 200gr NZ tenderloin was indeed worth waiting for. Perfect medium, well-grilled, and the white barbeque sauce on the side was really nice. At Rp95K, the portion comes with two side dishes. Must have is the green salad drenched in Japanese vinaigrette dressing. The corn batayaki is buttery and sweet with soy sauce. Simple side dishes that work to compliment the beautifully done tenderloin. Setting is decent though rather hot. Must work on the fans, perhaps. But I have promised myself to come back for more. Without being overhyped or a social media frenzy, Tokyo Skipjack wins over other sidewalk steak places in Jakarta for its fine grill, taste, and simplicity.
